Dog sled team - Team Ehawee

“Together with our sled dogs, we invite you to experience this magical world in a safe, warm, and personal way.”

We are Erwin and Barbara – certified dog sledding instructors and dedicated caregivers for our rescued huskies. Every winter, the landscape of northern Sweden transforms into a realm of snow and ice – frozen lakes, tranquil forests, and endless trails waiting to be discovered. Together with our sled dogs, we want to give you the opportunity to experience this magical world in a safe, warm, and personal way.

When you arrive, we will welcome you with traditional Swedish coffee and cake and introduce you to our pack. You will receive an introduction to the basics of dog sledding and all the necessary safety information before we head out into the forest. During your stay, you will learn how to prepare the dogs for the trip, how to handle the sled and equipment, and how to take care of the dogs afterwards.

Below you will find the activities we offer – for families, adventurers, and anyone who wants to discover the charm of dog sledding.

2 hours – Discover dog sledding

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the winter landscape as you ride in our sleigh. Each sleigh can carry up to 175 kg. There is plenty of time for taking photos and cuddling with the dogs.

  • 1 sleigh (2 adults) – SEK 1,600 (minimum bookable group)

  • 1 sleigh (2 adults + 2 children under 12 years of age, total weight under 175 kg) – SEK 2,500

Drive your own sleigh

If you want to be more involved, you can drive your own sled and follow the guide. We will assist you throughout – perfect as a first lesson.

  • 1350 SEK per person (from 10 years old)

2 hours – Children's sledding school (ages 3–10)

A playful and educational introduction to the world of sled dogs.
Barbara teaches the children about the dogs, lets them brush and cuddle them, and guides them in their first attempts at driving a children's sled with a dog. A fun and safe experience tailored to children!

  • 550 SEK per child (min. 4 – max. 10 children)

3 or 5 hours – Tour with coffee break, snack or lunch

These longer trips are perfect for those who want to delve deeper into the musher's lifestyle. You will help prepare the dogs and equipment, harness your team, and accompany them further into the forest or up into the mountains. Halfway through, we will take a break for coffee, hot drinks, or lunch by an open fire—a perfect opportunity to relax, take pictures, and cuddle with our four-legged heroes.

Everyone drives their own sled, but families with younger children or guests who prefer to ride along can sit in the guide's sled (upon request).

  • 3 hours with coffee/snacks – SEK 1,450 per person

  • 5 hours with lunch – SEK 1,895 per person

3 hours – Romantic evening tour

A magical experience in the winter darkness through silent landscapes.
You sit comfortably in the sleigh while we travel through the forest under the starry sky. We stop for warm drinks and snacks by the fire – and if we are lucky, the northern lights will dance above us.

  • 2 people – 3750 SEK

2 hours – Hiking with huskies (with or without snowshoes)

Discover the forest in a different way – on foot, together with our huskies.
A peaceful hike that ends with a cozy coffee break.

  • Adults – 450 SEK

  • Children – 300 SEK

2 hours – Visit our Husky Bar

Meet our huskies at our home! Enjoy coffee, cappuccino, tea, hot chocolate, or soda along with one of our homemade husky cookies. We will tell you about the dogs' lives, training, and daily routines. There will be plenty of time for brushing, petting, and taking pictures. Souvenirs and homemade husky treats are available for purchase.

  • Adults – 165 SEK

  • Children – 135 SEK
